85 metre Luxury Yacht

This model was built in advance of the actual vessel and depicts a luxurious 85 metre yacht being built at Oceanco’s yard in Holland as Yard No. Y-705 and is designed by Bjorn Johansson design.
Construction was carried out in close collaboration with the designers and every effort was made to portray the vessel to the latest state of the design procedure. Use was made of various appropriate materials including, acrylic, ABS plastic & polyurethane resin and many components incorporated the laser cut process for consistent accuracy. Most of the fine details are produced from chemical etched brass and stainless steel.
Automotive paints and lacquers are used to achieve an exhibition standard finish. This particular model appeared at the 2007 Monaco Yacht Show. With this mind the model displayed two differing paint schemes – one on the starboard and another on the port side.
